A house that shows the people painting Sicily
Exhibitions of contemporary Sicilian artists all year round, in the halls and the garden. Entry is free, for guests and for anyone passing by.
The story
In the twentieth century this house hosted painters and writers. Today their rooms are the exhibition halls.

Autumn 2026
Three painters from the Belice valley, aged between thirty and fifty, with some twenty works between the halls and the portico: the countryside after the earthquake, the rebuilt villages, the coast at Porto Palo.
From 20 September to 30 November. The opening is held in the evening, with the osteria cooking.
How it works
The rules of the house

Shows last two months
Five a year, one per season and one for the long summer. One artist or a group, never an anonymous collective.

The works are for sale
The artist sets the price and keeps the proceeds. The house takes no commission.

Openings happen at the table
Every show opens with a dinner in the great hall: the artist, the week's guests, anyone who wants to come from outside.

Group visits
Schools, associations, travelling groups: by appointment, with the artist when present.

If you paint Sicily
We look at everything that arrives: painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics. It needs to speak of this land and to sit well in a house, not in a museum.
Send us ten images, two lines about yourself and the months in which you could show. We answer everyone, even to say no.
